A group of students from the fourth year of study at the University of Zenica Faculty of Economics, led by the teaching staff, made a one-day visit to the Insurance Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina on May 28, 2024 in Sarajevo.
The Director of the Agency, Mrs. Emina Jahić, after welcoming them in the introductory presentation, introduced the guests to the establishment, work, competences and challenges faced by the Insurance Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina. In her address, the expert advisor at the Insurance Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mrs. Safeta Sarač, introduced the students to the most relevant professional aspects of the work of this institution for the academic community and answered the questions of the attendees.
After the presentation by the representative of the Insurance Agency of BiH, Almir Alihodžić, professor at the University of Zenica Faculty of Economics, thanked the Director of the Insurance Agency of BiH for the warm welcome, assessed the presented information as useful, introduced the representatives of the Insurance Agency of BiH to the challenges of the academic community in the financial system of Bosnia and Herzegovina and, finally, made a proposal for the continuation of cooperation between the Insurance Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the University of Zenica Faculty of Economics.
