6th "BiH Insurance Days" Conference: The Insurance Sector Faces New Risks, but Also Significant Room for Growth

Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina – September 17–18, 2026

The Insurance Association of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina organized the 6th "BiH Insurance Days," which was also attended by representatives of the Insurance Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The conference gathered representatives from insurance companies, regulatory bodies, the financial sector, as well as the academic and business communities from Bosnia and Herzegovina and the region.

Throughout the professional program, discussions centered on the most critical topics currently shaping the insurance market—ranging from the regulatory environment, economic and geopolitical trends, and digitalization, to the development of life and voluntary health insurance, rising claims costs, insurance fraud, human resource management, and emerging risks, including natural disasters.

One of the key messages of the conference was that the domestic market holds significant potential for further development, but achieving this growth requires adapting to new circumstances, strengthening consumer trust, and fostering greater collaboration among all market participants.
