The Bulgarian Financial Supervision Commission is looking for a full-time

ASSISTANT for the RESIDENT TWINNING ADVISER (RTA)

under the TWINNING PROJECT BA07-IB-FI-01 „EU Support for Sustainable Capacity Building of the Insurance Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the FBiH and RS Insurance Supervisory Agencies”.

The assignment of the RTA assistant will last 24 months. The RTA assistant will carry out his/her duties in the project office in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina.  

Major responsibilities:

• assisting the RTA in the implementation of the work plan of the twinning project, including organising meetings, seminars and workshops, and preparation of working materials for such events (e.g. slides, handouts); - overall administrative management of the RTA office;
• attending meetings, workshops and other project related
• events and producing minutes;
• written and oral communication in English, Bosnian, Croatian, Serbian;
• assisting the RTA in drafting and editing the monthly, quarterly and final project reports and any other relevant documents;
• providing interpretation during meetings;
• translation of working documents;
• providing logistical assistance to the RTA and visiting member state experts.  

Requirements:

• university degree, preferably in finance, economics or related fields,
• fluency in English;
• excellent organizational and communication skills;
• very good command of MS Office;
• ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team;
• ability to work under time pressure.  

Experience in a similar position and/or an EU-funded project is welcome but not a precondition. Working knowledge of Bulgarian language will be considered a strong asset.
