Organised by Insurance Agency in B&H a Regional Conference on "Insurance markets in Southeast and Central Europe and their regulation" will be held.

The Conference will be held in Sarajevo on September 29 at the premises of Common Institutions Building of B&H, Trg Bosne i Hercegovine 1, beginning at 9:30. It is organised on occasion of the finishing the Twinning Light Project "Support to Insurance Agency in Bosnia and Herzegovina" funded by EU and implemented with aid of Bulgarian Financial Supervision Commission.

Invitations to the conference have been sent to senior government officials and experts working in regulatory bodies from all of the countries of Central and Southeast Europe, experts from insurance industry and other interested groups of insurance system in Bosnia and Herzegovina as well as the representatives of different government bodies in B&H.

The purpose of the conference is the exchange of oppinions and practices between subjects in insurance market as well as other insurance regulatory and supervisory bodies from countries of Central and Southeast Europe.

Topics on the conference will be: Recent Regulatory and Market Developments, Solvency Regimes and the Impact of the Future EU Legislation, MTPL Insurance and Mechanisms to Prevent the Uninsured Driving, Regulation and Best Practices for Consumer Protection and Exchange of Information between Supervisory Authorities. The new statistical publication of Insurance Agency in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Statistics of insurance market in Bosnia and Herzegovina, 2007 will also be presented on the conference.
