In cooperation with Bulgarian Financial Supervision Commission between 8th and 14th of May seminars were held in the premises of Insurance Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina under the work plan of the Twinning Light project BA06 IB OT 07 TL Support to the Insurance Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

I. Training of the BiH Agency staff and the staff of the Entity Agencies on licensing and withdrawal of licenses (Activity 2.2.1 of the Work plan) took place on May 8th and 9th.   

Topics of the seminar were the following: 

Presentation of the Financial Supervision Commission, the presentation was delivered by the Chairman of the FSC Mr. Apostol Apostolov

Development of the regulatory framework in the field of licensing and withdrawal of licenses in Bulgaria since 1997, the presentation was delivered by Deputy Chair of the FSC head of Insurance Supervision Division Mrs. Ralitsa Agayn-Guri

Additional presentations were delivered by Head of Department Preliminary Supervision Regimes in the Insurance Supervision Division of the FSC Ms. Michaela Deneva 

II. Training for the staff of the BiH Agency and for the staff of the Entity Agencies on technical aspects of insurance supervision (technical provisions, investments, own funds and solvency margin) (Activity 2.2.2 of the Work plan) took place on May 12th, 13th and 14th.

Head of Department Inspections and Off-site Supervision in the Insurance Supervision Division of the FSC Ms. Dessislava Doncheva
